Unstoppable Manchester City Wins Manchester Derby Beats Manchester United!

December 10, 2017: Manchester City are unstoppable! Pep Guardiola’s men are absolutely amazing!  The Citizens continued their winning streak as they edged Man United 2-1 at Old Trafford in a pulsating encounter.

The Sky-Blues dominates the game and expectedly enjoyed the lion share of possession and created more of the chances on the night.

Man City drew the first blood late in the first half precisely in the 43rd minute when David Silva poked in from close range with a loose ball in the box. In the added time of the half, United leveled with Marcus Rashford finishing coolly as the ball fall invitingly inside the area from a cross after Otamendi fumbled with it.

City continued from where they stopped in the second half with their control of the game. Nicolas Otamendi latched onto a loose ball in the 54th minute inside the United box after Lukaku’s poor clearance to put his side in the lead again.

He atoned for his earlier mistake ?

From then on, it was all struggle for United to get back into the game but City continuously calmed things down with their possession football.

Romelu Lukaku almost drew United level but City’s goalkeeper Ederson made a fantastic double saves first against Lukaku and also against Juan Mata in quick succession to keep City’s lead.

Towards the end, City had all the chances to extend their lead but fluffed the chances. They still held on so firmly to claim a superb win at the Theatre of Dreams which turned nightmarish for United.

Manchester United had 35% possession at home against City’s 65%. This is utterly ridiculous and unacceptable for a club as big as United who spent big to assemble the team.

Manchester City earned an amazing record-breaking 14 consecutive Premier League wins in a season.  They are now 11 points clear off Man United, 14 points clear off Chelsea, and for Arsenal? No need! ?

This is absolutely incredible!  Who will stop City?  Who will stop Guardiola’s men?
