International women\u2019s day: \u201cWomen Will Overthrow Us If We \u201cGive Them Too Much Opportunities\u201d – Nigeria Lawmaker Kazaure [VIDEO]\n
Gudaji Muhammed Kazaure, a\u00a0lawmaker from Jigawa state, has warned against giving women too much opportunity.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n According to the lawmaker representing Kazaure\/Roni\/Gwiwa\/Yankwashi constituency, women already \u201ccontrol men at home\u201d.<\/p>\n He said: \u201dIt is good to give women opportunities in politics, entrepreneurship because of the good role they play in our lives.<\/p>\n \u201dMy fear is, the women control the men at home, if you give them too much opportunity outside the house, they will capture everything.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you give them too much chance, one day, they will overthrow us. One day you will come here and find women everywhere in this chamber and they will mess up.\u201d<\/p>\n Kazaure made the comment on a day set aside to mark the International Women\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n Watch the video below:<\/p>\n
