{"id":4645,"date":"2017-12-12T22:49:48","date_gmt":"2017-12-13T05:49:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nigerianews.ca\/?p=4645"},"modified":"2017-12-12T22:51:07","modified_gmt":"2017-12-13T05:51:07","slug":"tekno-meets-canadian-drake-davido-reacts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nigerianews.ca\/tekno-meets-canadian-drake-davido-reacts\/","title":{"rendered":"Tekno meets with Canadian, Drake: Davido reacts"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<h1 class=\"post_title\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.yabaleftonline.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/24126821_133595554024170_9056351938513207296_n-1.jpg?resize=583%2C298\" width=\"738\" height=\"377\" \/><\/h1>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"col-md-12 col-lg-8\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>December 12, 2017: Photos of Canadian rapper Drake and singer\/producer, Tekno, in a meeting surfaced online and Twitter has gone agog which is a sign that Drake \u00a0and Tekno might have New Music on the way.\u00a0On Monday, Drake posted a picture of him and Nigerian artist Tekno, a possible hint that new music from the two artists could be arriving soon.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"main-media main-media--image \">\n<div class=\"ndn_embed\">\n<div class=\"ndn_embed\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"main-media__image alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/files\/styles\/article_main_image\/public\/media\/drake-sse-hydro-2017-billboard-1548.jpg\" width=\"737\" height=\"488\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"media__details-text\">\n<div class=\"media__credit\">Ross Gilmore\/Getty Images<\/div>\n<div class=\"media__caption\">Drake performs at The SSE Hydro on March 23, 2017 in Glasgow, United Kingdom.<\/div>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"article__body js-fitvids-content\">\n<div id=\"m2_1\" class=\"ad_desktop dfp-ad dfp-ad-m2 clarity-processed is-dfp-returned\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/6419\/billboard\/articles\/columns_2__container__\">For the past few summers, Drake has been heating up charts with his dancehall-infused club bangers, and he may be cooking up some more tropical-tinged cuts to add to his extensive repertoire.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The photo was taken at what appears to be a restaurant as Tekno\u00a0was in mid-conversation with Drake\u00a0attentively listening.\u00a0The pair continued to fuel speculation by posting a series of teasers like a screenshot captured from Drake&#8217;s Instagram Story, where Tekno\u00a0is sitting at a soundboard in a studio, and a photo Tekno\u00a0shared of him and Drake captioned &#8220;B A S E D R O P.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Canadian Rapper\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.yabaleftonline.ng\/drake-shares-picture-tekno-studio-working-track\/\">shared a picture of Nigerian Singer, Tekno<\/a>\u00a0in his Studio cooking up some beats for him and the Nigerian MEDIA went agog in anticipation for a new collaboration or getting to work together .<\/p>\n<p>Some social media users however started throwing subtle shades at a certain Nigerian act who collaborated with Drake on some hit songs but there was no picture proof of them working together.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.yabaleftonline.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/25011473_395738147526383_5632467038787076096_n.jpg?resize=640%2C640\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Now the main gist is that Davido, who recently won yet another award has reacted to the news and he had <em>nothing but joy\u00a0<\/em>and love for Alhaji Tekno.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.yabaleftonline.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/tekkno.jpg?resize=609%2C323\" alt=\"Tekno meeting Drake\" \/><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>He tweeted;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"td_quote_box td_box_center\"><p>TEKNO!!!
