The company announced the features in a <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.fb.com\/news\/2018\/02\/feeling-the-love-with-messenger\/\">blog post<\/a>, saying that they allow for you to \u201cfeel the love with Messenger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Facebook says that starting on Valentine\u2019s Day, when you make your relationship \u201cFacebook official,\u201d you\u2019ll get a Messenger notification that instantly connects you to your new partner. From there, you can make it rain hearts, quickly send the heart eyes emoji, and more:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It\u2019s raining hearts! A heart shower will fall across your screen.<\/li>\n<li>Spread the love: Your custom emoji (in the lower right hand corner) will be \ufffc, so expressing your love will be fast and easy<\/li>\n<li>Get personal: You\u2019ll be prompted to personalize your chat and set your own custom text color, emoji, and nickname in case you want to switch things up even more.<\/li>\n<li>Chatting with bae: Your loved one will be the first person to appear on the Active tab, so you can easily see when they\u2019re available to chat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the same blog post, Facebook also offers up some statistics on the love that is spread through Messenger.
