Suspected Fulani herdsmen on Monday killed two officers of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Awanger village, Guma local government area of Benue State. According to a Facebook post, the victims are Ada Patrick and Adam Godwin. The victims were reportedly ambushed and shot dead at 2:25 p.m. on Monday. Attempts to speak with the Public Relation Officer (PRO) of the Benue State Command of NSCDC failed as he refused to pick his calls.<\/p>\n
