TRIBUTE to Late Chief Duro Ladipo MON 40 Years After His Passage

Iconic Nigerian actor and playwright, known world-wide for his classic plays, particularly “Oba Koso”, “Eda”, and “Oba Moro”.

He died in Ibadan, Oyo State of Nigeria, on 11th March, 1978, aged 45.

Celebrations of the 40th anniversary of his passage in Ibadan, Osogbo, Ile-Ife and Iganmu, Lagos State are from Saturday, 10th March to Sunday, 18th March,2018.

May the noble soul of the “Thunderking” of theatre continue to rest in peace. Amen.

In his tribute remark, Mr Mufu Onifade the producer of classical stage drama “Yeepa Solarin Nbo” he wrote
