December 18, 2017: The governor of Ogun state, Southwest Nigeria, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and some aides of President Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday, December 17, paid a surprise goodwill birthday visit to the Nigerian President as he turned 75 years old.   The Nation’s Service Chiefs also joined the Presidential aides in a surprise goodwill birthday visit to the President.

Born December 17, 1942, President Buhari who came into power as a democratically elected President May 2015, turned 75 years old today, December 17, 2017.

Apart from the Ogun state governor who visited President Buhari to celebrate his birthday with him, President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Representative, Hon. Yakubu Dogara and other prominent Nigerians took to Social Media to wish the President Happy birthday.
