The Managing Director of China Energy Engineering Corporation, CEEC, Nigeria branch, Mr. Shao Wen gave the hint on Wednesday 8th November, 2017, at the Governor’s office Alagbaka, Akure during a business meeting with the Governor.
Engineer Ife Oyedele, Executive Director, Niger Delta Power Holding led the delegation.
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, while reacting to their presentation restated the commitment of his Administration to providing conducive business environment to all investors, saying that the State was endowed with many mineral resources yet to be explored.
“Ondo State is one of the oil producing states in Nigeria and it has Liquefied Natural Gas in commercial quantity; Bitumen, Kaolin, Coal, Salt, Tin and Mables.
” As we speak, there are no granite or bitumen processing companies in the state so, the resources are exported in raw state for processing in other countries and for us it’s unacceptable.
” We shall give you our maximum support. You can count on us,” he said.
Engineer Ife Oyedele further explained that the project was aimed at accelerating sustainable energy technology innovation in the state.
