Manufacturers want Ondo Govt to implement plan on Industry

Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) Ondo state chapter has called on the state government to implement the plan drawn up by the committee set up by the governor on industrialisation.

The state Chairman of the Association, Engr. Emmanuel Adewumi, who is a member of the committee spoke in a telephone interview with The Hope in Akure, Ondo state.

Adewumi said that the committee has a robust package plan for industrialisation which he said had been submitted to the governor.

According to him, if the package in the plan is implemented, it is going to bring the state to a lime- light as far as manufacturing is concern.

He advise the governor to look into the report submitted by the committee he set up on industrialisation in the state and should do a follow up on it.

He called on the manufacturers to be patient and that good things will come from the present administration

“I am aware of what has been put down. If those things are implemented, it will be okay because we have a very good package for industrialisation in the state”, he stated.

Adewumi pointed to the industrial park at Ore which he said is one of the things in the report urging people to visit the place to see what has been put down there.

He however assured that the state would be on a better ground if those things put down are implemented.
