OBJ Defends Ph.D At National Open University Of Nigeria (Photos)
December 7, 2017: Ex-Nigerian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has defended his PhD thesis at the National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN.
He has previously completed his postgraduate diploma from the same university in 2009 said he’d always wanted anything to make him better and make his goals in life totally achieved. The former Head of State also said it was necessary he forged ahead with his education to help his farm.

Obasanjo revamped the National Open University of Nigeria dduring his tenure as the President between 1999 and 2007, converting the former “Distance Learning Centre” to a university with several courses and programmes now accredited. The institution was approved and built by the government of Nigeria’s first elected President, Shehu Shagari in 1983.
The elder statesman who hails from Owu, Ogun State was pictured with his laptop as he studied his thesis amidst many others who may be sitting to defend their doctorate degrees also.
