November 30, 2017: The South London MC, Stormzy, was the big winner at the 2017 Mobo awards – the annual celebration of black music.
He went home with three prizes: best male artist, best grime act, and best album, for the chart-topping Gang Signs & Prayer and was nominated in five categories.
Nigerian artist, Wizkid beats Drake, Jay-Z, Cardi B, Travis Scott, Migos, DJ Khaled, Solange Knowles, SZA, and Kendrick Lamar To win MOBO Best International Act 2017 Award.
Davido also won Best African Act.
It was a big win for Davido at MOBO Awards 2017 which was held in Leeds at the First Direct Arena.
Davido who has done well for himself in recent time, beat Wizkid, Maleek Berry, Mr Eazi and others nominated for the Best African Act award.
